Behind every thriving student is a committed teacher—and at Mweruka Junior School, that commitment runs deep. Our faculty don’t just teach; they disciple, mentor, and love every child who walks through the school gates. Through the Faculty Salaries & Support program, Blessings of Joy ensures that teachers and staff receive consistent, year-round income, even during school closures or holidays.

Since 2016, this program has expanded from 14 staff supported by 13 donors to a team of 23 supported by nearly 30 sponsors. Salaries are paid monthly, and milestones in longevity are recognized with Employee Service Awards. Annual excellence awards are presented at graduation to teachers who go above and beyond.

The impact is clear: teacher retention has increased dramatically, morale is high, and students are succeeding. From Primary Leaving Exam scores to community outreach during the pandemic, the MJS staff continues to show what it means to serve with excellence.
