At Mweruka Junior School, our 23 teachers do more than teach — they mentor, disciple, and serve.

Many travel long distances to reach this rural village, living in temporary housing during the school term and returning home only on breaks. Despite earning less than government school salaries, they choose to stay—because they believe in the mission.

Salary Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to support one of these educators directly. With a monthly pledge of $40, $80, $120, or $160, you can sponsor part—or all—of a teacher’s salary.

Currently, most teachers earn about $125 per month, which is paid consistently year-round—even during school closures. During the COVID pandemic, these teachers continued to serve: teaching children in small village groups, delivering food to 76 families, and maintaining the school campus.

A handful of donors already sponsor teachers, but the majority of salary costs for 23 teachers and 5 staff are still covered by the general fund. Your support helps us retain exceptional educators, build stability, and continue transforming lives through learning.
