Meeting Special Needs.

Blessings of Joy meets students and families where they are—offering help when unexpected challenges arise. Whether it’s a warm shirt, emergency surgery, or a safe place to sleep, our Special Needs Fund ensures no child is left behind due to circumstances outside their control.

Clothing

For many children, birthdays and holidays are the only time they receive new clothes. BOJ provides students with clothing and shoes to replace worn-out uniforms or to dress with dignity for church and school.

Food Assistance

Through child sponsorships and family care packages, we help ensure food security for children in high-risk households. When inflation or famine strikes, Blessings of Joy steps in with rice, beans, and other staples.

Medical & Dental Care

We provide support for medical needs not covered by school programs—from malaria treatment to eyeglasses to dental surgery. When needed, Blessings of Joy coordinates with local professionals and BOJ team members to ensure proper care is delivered.

BOJ House (Orphanage)

Some children at MJS have no safe home to return to. The BOJ House offers vulnerable children a secure, loving, and faith-filled environment to grow, learn, and heal. This orphan care ministry is one of the most direct ways donors can change a child’s life trajectory.

Incidentals

Exam fees, mosquito netting, transportation costs, emergency housing repairs—life throws a lot of unexpected expenses at our students and their families. The Special Needs Fund covers the gaps that make it possible for children to stay in school and stay safe.
